The deadline for filing your ANCHOR benefit application is December 29, 2023. NJ will begin paying ANCHOR benefits January 2, 2024. ANCHOR payments will be paid on a rolling basis. Homeowners who filed a Homestead Benefit application last year may be able to obtain their ID and PIN numbers online. Renters/Tenants do not need an ID or PIN number to file. The ANCHOR call center hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, except state holidays.
